DSA Condemns Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza
DSA condemns the heaviest Israeli airstrikes in Gaza since 2014, which have killed at least six people and destroyed scores of buildings, including the TV station Al-Aqsa TV. These most recent attacks are part of an escalation of violence that began when a team of Israeli commandos killed seven Hamas members, including a commander, in a clandestine raid in the southern city of Khan Younis on Sunday.
DSA mourns the most recent casualties in this ongoing conflict, and decries the act of unilateral Israeli aggression that triggered this latest round of violence.
As of this writing, Palestinian groups in the Gaza Strip claim they have agreed to an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire with Israel. DSA demands that Israel immediately stop all airstrikes and land incursions into Palestinian territory.
