It's more important than ever that socialists organize for power and put pressure on those who have the power to mitigate the worst of this public health crisis. But our work is much more difficult in a time when meeting in person is impossible, let alone rallying masses of people to march on bosses, landlords or elected officials.
This is Part 1 of a two-part training that will be held over 2 weeks. Join us on Thursday, April 9 for a training and discussion about strategies for keeping the pressure up during social distancing. We'll talk big picture theory of change, brainstorm ways to show people their collective power while social distancing, and review how to cut an issue and identify a target. Then on Thursday, April 16 we will gather again for a deep-dive into different tactics we can use to escalate and build power while social distancing.
