In the midst of the current COVID-19 climate, it's extremely important for socialists to have a firm understanding and analysis of past crises and how the working class has united in order to push for reform and advocacy. Gregg Gonsalves, Assistant Professor in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases at Yale School of Public Health, will join us for historical context rooted in the AIDS crisis and ACT UP's community organizing and response. Marty Bennett, a long time labor organizer and activist, is also joining us to provide history from a labor organizing standpoint.
Join us for this call hosted by the DSA National Political Education Committee for a bit of history that can give us great insight into what tools the working class has at their disposal to organize in the time of COVID-19.
