In the midst of the worst economic crisis our country has experienced since the great depression, President Barack Obama has failed to deliver the swift and bold change that he promised during his campaign.  His failure to lead is being exacerbated by the budget cuts he recently proposed. These cuts will endanger the jobs of thousands.  His excuse is the budget deficit, but his cuts will only shave a measly 3% off the deficit.  The only real solution to the deficit crisis is to cut military expenditures and to stop insuring the bets of the big banks.  Unfortunately, Obama has not shown a willingness to make these real changes.
