Saturday Jan. 27: Join YDS and NYSPC at 10:30 AM
YDS and fellow National Youth and Student Peace Coalition members meet up Saturday morning
On Saturday, the Young Democratic Socialists will join with the NYSPC contingent of the march. We will be meeting up at the Department of Education at 10:30 AM. Bring your signs, banners, slogans, and chants! YDS will provide some signs for members. Take the Green, Yellow, Orange, and Blue lines to L'Efant Plaza. Walk north on 7th ST., turn right on Maryland Ave. to the Department of Education (1 Block). The weather should be nice, but dress in layers in case you get cool or warm. Bring water and snacks! We will leave there at 11:30 to join the march and rally on the mall.

Saturday: Multi-Generational Democratic Socialist Gathering
DSA and YDS members meet-up for FREE food (2:30 to 5:30 PM)
On Saturday afternoon, the Democratic Socialists of America and Young Democratic Socialists will have an informal gathering with FREE FOOD. From 2:30 to 5:30 PM at the Hunan Dynasty Restaurant, DSA and YDS members can meet and greet after the rally. The Hunan Dynasty Restaurant is located on 215 Pennsylvania Ave. SE. From the Capitol walk 2 blocks east on East Capitol ST. to 2nd Street, turn right 2 blocks south to Penn., cross Penn. and turn left for 150-200 feet. The metro station is Capitol South on the Blue and Orange lines. Take the escalator to the street, walk forward 50 feet to C Street, turn right one block to 2nd Street, turn left on 2nd one block to Penn., turn right for 150-200 feet to Hunan Dynasty.

Sunday: NYSPC Activities
Meet other NYSPC members for a day of activities
On Sunday, there will be a "meet NYSPC" event at the lobby training (Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School) from 4-5 PM. Find out more about what NYSPC does, what we are planning for the 4th Anniversary of the Iraq War, and how your local YDS chapter or activist group can be involved in coalition activities.
