Frances Fox Piven


Frances Fox Piven is an eminent scholar of American politics and social movements at the City University of New York Graduate Center and has long been an honorary co-chair of Democratic Socialists of America. She is the author of Poor People's Movements, Regulating the Poor, and Challenging Authority, among numerous other books and articles. Her most recent book is Who’s Afraid of Frances Fox Piven? The Essential Writings of the Professor Glenn Beck Loves to Hate.
