Delegate Rates:

$325.00 Solidarity: Register at this rate
This registration makes the conference more affordable to someone who needs it by helping subsidize other attendees. 

$225.00 Sustainer: Register at this rate
This rate helps roughly cover the actual convention cost per delegate. We request those making over $40,000 use this or the Solidarity rate. 

$125.00 Low-Income: Register at this rate
Low and Fixed Income - This subsidized rate is reserved for students, retirees, and others with limited income.

 

Observer Rate:

$225.00: Observer

This rate is for non-delegate attendees. We are at capacity for observers and are no longer accepting new observers.

It’s 1984, British coal miners are on strike, and a group of gays and lesbians in London bring the queer community together to support the miners in their fight. Join DSA member and labor historian Susan Hirsch in discussing Union Maids (1976). Nominated for an Academy Award, this documentary follows three Chicago labor organizers (Kate Hyndman, Stella Nowicki, and Sylvia Woods) active beginning in the 1930s. The filmmakers were members of the New American Movement (a precursor of DSA), and the late Vicki Starr (aka Stella Nowicki) was a longtime member of Chicago DSA and the Chicago Women's Liberation Union.
