CBS News Web site to Publish: Socialism and the Politics of Fear
 
On Thursday, July 23 CBS News web site (in the opinion section) will publish a short article under my byline titled Socialism and the Politics of Fear that addresses the continued socialist baiting of Obama by the Republicans. The piece traces their rhetoric from the 2008 campaign to the fight over the stimulus bill, and now health care.  The piece will probably be posted in the morning. Here?s a link to their site.

Also on Thursday the 23rd DSA Vice-Chair and National Political Member will be speaking at speaking in San Francisco at a symposium on ?Capitalism in Crisis: Socialism in the 21st Century. Joe will be speaking at 4PM panel titled Conversation on the Left? Building the Left and the Progressive Majority.
